Ryan and Jennifer first met at Strikers Lanes in Baldwin, Wisconsin on November 21, 2020. Jen was out with her sister, while Ryan was out with the guys watching football. Jen couldn’t help but notice the cute guy across the bar, so she went up and introduced herself to Ryan. Since that day forward, they have become inseparable.

One of Ryan and Jen’s favorite things to do together is jump into a car and just start driving. They are never quite sure of a destination but end up having a blast nonetheless.

They also have a goal of traveling together to all 50 states. However, when traveling, an occasional argument may take place over the navigational system being used during their travels. Ryan and Jen have visited 14 states out of the 50 and plan to continue.

At Christmas, Ryan had asked Jen to make a Christmas list of gifts that she wanted. Jen being her witty self wrote “ring,” and nothing more. She didn’t receive the ring for Christmas but did receive an over-the-range microwave. Jen did mention she wanted a microwave and loved that she received it, even though it wasn’t a ring.

Ryan kept the Christmas list that said “ring,” and on February 7, 2025, while Jen was making dinner, he presented the paper. She giggled because she thought he was trying to pull a fast one. But then he fell to one knee (glad she had just spilled oil all over the floor ;)) and then, Ryan proposed.
